Anthony received his MS from UF in 2010 where he studied the population density and nesting behavior of wild honey bee colonies in South Africa. For his PhD, Anthony studied bumble bees nutritional preferences. In the López-Uribe lab, Anthony is studying the long term effects of honey bee management on native bee host-plant species usage, pathogen prevalence, and population size around the world.
