Surojit Bera is a microbiologist with rich work experience in the field of nutraceuticals, drug delivery, and bioremediation. He has earned his Master of Science (Gold Medallist) degree in Microbiology from Vidyasagar University and a PhD (INSPIRE Fellow) in Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology-Durgapur, India. He received his post-PhD research trainings at IIT-Gandhinagar and IIT-Kharagpur and then served as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology for four years at Lovely Professional University, India. Currently in the López-Uribe lab he is quantifying chemical and morphological traits in plants for multiple ongoing projects.
