Liz is an insect physiologist with an interest in understanding how environmental conditions impact genetic variation and energy metabolics in insects. She received her BS in Health Sciences from Aurora University, and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from North Dakota State University. As a postdoc in the López-Uribe lab, Liz’s work focuses on disease ecology and genomics of honey bee genetic stocks in PA.
