Sarah received her B.Sc. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and recently completed her M.Sc. in Entomology from Penn State University in 2021. Her thesis focused on plant-pollinator interactions, specifically evaluating the relative attractiveness of various mint species and cultivars (genera: Mentha and Pycnanthemum) to pollinators in central PA. In the López-Uribe Lab, she is assisting with the PA Bee Monitoring Project in which she processes and identifies bees that are sent in for the project.
